As your school board member I will:
Treat our teachers and staff as professionals and leaders in our community
Focus on providing resources to ensure a safe and healthy learning environment
Listen to teachers and staff member about their concerns and needs
Prioritize hiring diverse staff who reflect our community and serve as real role models for every student who walks through our doors
Partnering with Parents to Achieve Results
As a parent, a former teacher, and a school administrator, I have a unique understanding of the relationship between parents and teachers. We are on the same team and must work together to effectively support our students.

Support parent involvement and family engagement
Encourage parents and guardians to get involved to gain valuable stakeholder perspectives
Ensure district spending and budget processes are transparent
Instructional Leadership
We must adapt to all present and future challenges to help our students reach their full potential.
As your school board member, I will:
Advocate for instruction that emphasizes best practices and real world application
Focus on programs that support teachers to increase student literacy in math, sciences, and language arts
Develop a thoughtful classroom technology plan that enhances good instruction rather than replacing it, ensuring we are smarter, not just busier, with the tools we have
Equip every student with the critical judgment to navigate an AI-driven world, knowing when to trust it, question it, and rely on their own thinking
Modernize how we assess students so our measures reflect how they actually think, create, and problem-solve, not outdated or culturally unresponsive standards
Expand career technical education, dual enrollment, internships, and hands-on learning so every student has real pathways forward
Safe and Inclusive Environment for Students
Every child deserves to come to school feeling safe, seen, and valued. Our students need more social and emotional learning to support mental health challenges, and we must create a genuinely inclusive environment where diversity is honored and no child feels invisible or excluded.
As your school board member I will:
Prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in our schools and our community
Champion policies and practices that foster a genuine sense of belonging, where every voice matters and no student feels excluded
Invest in counselors and mental health resources, because academic success starts with wellbeing
Provide free and accessible resources to students for physical, emotional, and social safety and well-being
Encourage updates to curriculum that reflect the diversity of our community and shared history
